who is fraLE
fraLE was conceived in 2020 and it is composed of personalities with different training experiences in the fields of art and culture: from curating to cultural planning, from education to communication management.
I’ve obtained my MA in Visual Arts at the University of Bologna. During the past few years I’ve mainly focused my researches on curatorship and I’ve fulfilled the roles of Curator and Assistant Curator for several art spaces and organizations, like Moderna Museum and Accelerator (both based in Stockholm), Peninsula.land and PhotoWerk (both based in Berlin), SetUp Contemporary Art Fair (Bologna). Right now I’m finishing a MA in Curating Art at Stockholm University.
After a Master degree in Economy of Enviroment, Culture and Territory at the Turino University, I attended a specialization course in Economy and Management of the Arts at the 24ORE Business School of Milan. Over the years I’ve focused my attention on the topic of culture as a tool of social and economical development and I worked in the museological field and specialized in didactis and organization of cultural events.
I have a Master degree in Art History at the University of Bologna. During the past few years I’ve focused my research on the most recent visual arts from a sociological standpoint, stressing the importance of the fruition especially on the new digital media. I worked as a web content editor for various cultural realities (events, public institutions and private associations) and as a curator mainly of young artist projects.
I graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Bologna in Communication and Art Education. After the BFA I decided to deepen my knowledge about the curatorial practice and I attended the Advanced Study Program “Event and Museum Curator” at IED in Rome. For some years I have been working as an educator in the museological field. In my opinion, art education and curatorial practice are two ways to do the same thing: make the museum more interesting for different kinds of visitors and transform it into an activating place of new experiences.
